Writing his first poem at fourteen years old, Tré has been doing readings at events for nearly a decade. Whilst much of his work focuses on race and identity, he has a catalogue of work covering topics including: mental health, current affairs, gender, history, family, immigration and more. Much of his recent work also considers intersectionality and his lived experiences of being autistic/dyspraxic while Black.

Whilst he does lots of poetry readings, he also delivers lectures on spoken word poetry to community groups, schools, universities and really whoever is interested.

No event is off-limits.

Education: Race + Neurodivergency

Sessions about race / neurodivergent (dis)abilities for private and public sector institutions. Neurodivergent is a catch-all term for many neurotypes, and my focuses come from lived experiences of autism and dyspraxia.

As a Black person and as an neurodivergent person, Tré sees the world through different lens and the approach to all his work is intersectional.

Through his own writing, reading and life experiences, Tré has developed a knowledge of neurodivergency, race education, and social justice, (incl. intersectionality and privilege).

From workshops and talks to readings and facilitating discussions, he has been to schools, universities and even prisons, and always up for sharing messages through lectures, discussions and workshops.

All his sessions are available online to public/private sector institutions and community groups, but can also be delivered face-to-face.
